Remove the ability to pull players from buildings
Its not an exploit.
As I just explained to you.
Mesmers focus #4 attack has an ability that will yank you from where you are standing.
Maybe find a better location where attackers will not have LOS on you so they cant yank you off the edge.
Don’t blame poor gameplay for “broken game mechanics”
I’ve been pulled off a few times, in various situations. There is an LOS bug in the skill though, as i’ve been pulled off without it a couple times. I would like to see the range reduced however, it really shouldn’t be any farther than binding chains pull.
Speaking of which, binding chains last a bit, so i can put it on someone then lose line of sight, and still yank them to me. Putting it on them however is pretty close range.
Why don’t look at this the other way?
Give every profession a skill like that to even it out
Shadowlancer.7102 – all except the mesmer pull are buggy kittens since they rely on projectiles that you can a) dodge if its the slow moving giant black ice covered necro arm b) LoS or reflect if its thief or guardian pulls
DaWolv.8503 – no, just no… do not homogen classes…
Guardian Greatsword 5 has a pull component to it. The range on that is 600 which is pretty close.
The mesmer one has a 2 part component to it.
The temporal curtain. Range is 900.
The pull is only 550 units but it pulls TO the temproal curtain.
With it you could technically pull someone 1450 units. But again. In order to get someone off an edge it needs to be unobstructed. If there is even the slightest pebble in the way it will prevent them from being pulled.
Necromances Spectral grasp has a range of 1200.
Same scenario. The attack requires LOS in order to pull the target.
