Removing kick voting in Fractals
While this has already been suggested, I strongly agree with this.
Just the other day I entered a dungeon with some group, but soon noticed they were all from the same guild. Knowing that this leads to a risk of losing all my progress due to their guild member popping in, I felt I had to leave the group.
It is not beneficial for anyone at the moment. Incomplete guild teams are having harder and harder time finding the last 1-2 players for the party when people learn of the exploit, and nobody feels secure in a group due to constantly thinking “Could the partymembers B and C secretly be friends, is there a person X who might wish to pop in the dungeon later on.”
The kicking system needs to be reworked, and the kicked member needs to have an option to veto the reward for the person replacing him. Or something. Something to discourage using this exploit without hurting the parties who are midway in the dungeon when one of the partymembers DCs and doesn’t come back or just has to leave.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.
I still wonder why people even do this.
Why didn’t the fifth guy join from the beginning?
But yeah, basically, you shouldn’t be able to kick players that are online. It’s simple, not perfect, but hundred times better than now.

Well, you need to be able to kick an online player for legit reasons, but the current system needs some tweaking.

It may have been suggested before, but it doesnt hurt to have it at the top as a new topic, maybe just maybe someone from Anet team will acknowledge this topic, so they are aware of it,
The reason im guessing the 5th guy didnt join was either he didnt have the agony resistance needed for it, or was below level 80, and by kicking someone out they can jump in and get the fractal progress ahead of time, its the same problem with dungeons,
For me and most of my guild now, we will not run with pugs where there are 2 people from the same guild in it, ive personally helped 100’s of people threw fractals and never kicked anyone, i feel this is an exploit of the reward system in the game that needs to be addressed fast, before it starts to do real damage to the community.
It seems to me that the only really legit reason to kick someone is AFK/Disconnected. So it should be simple. Make Kick start up someones drop from game timer at like 10 seconds. So they have 10 seconds to prove they’re still there. If they’re AFK or Disconnected they won’t be able to and it will remove them from the group, if they are actively participating in the fight it won’t work.

If they actually incorporated a REAL LFG tool into this game then it wouldn’t be a problem….
You would either have to
form a real group and go in with that group from the beginning
or the LFG tool (if used to find a party) would immediately fill in the slot if they kick someone thus eliminating the chances of them getting far in and kicking someone to add their own friend.

I was referring to leeching. A leecher may not be afk (although they usually are), and most certainly isn’t DC’d.
Besides, everyone goes afk for 1 min during dungeons from time to time, usually saying something along the lines “Sorry, door, brb” or “phone” or “getting a drink” ect.

Or they keep kicking people who pop in through the LFG tool until their guildie gets in. Yes, there are people like that.

Actually, it does
When there are multitude of duplicate topics, some of the truly good and valuable threads with mindblowing ideas go under. It’s such a shame seeing dozens of threads for mounts, which is just a boring, generic idea that the devs are obviously aware, push down the actually good ideas that would make the game more balanced and enjoyable.
That is why one should always use the search tool at the forums at least 3 times before posting a “new” thread. Post in existing threads if anyhow possible, that will get the thread back on top.
