I know Hearts aren’t dynamic event, and it is exactly that, that I am suggesting this, making them more dynamic.

I am using Aid Fort Salma as an example (because i am there repeating this quest for the fourth time.)

Number 1
How it can be more “dynamic” instead of it being a “kill ten rats”.

Now, we have a bar that if it is filled you’ve capture the Hearts of the people, (in this case) by disarming spike traps, putting out burning bushes, etc.

How about this: if we managed to put out the fire before it reaches the buildings in Fort Salma, we get the heart filled? Or preventing and or saving npc from spike traps.

If we can’t make it in time, the people will not like you, and we have to do it another time, this is not to impost a grind, it makes it more dynamic / real more re-playability.

I think the latter would be a much nicer way to get the hearts. after one level 80, there’s not much replayable quality if they remain un-dynamic.

Number 2)
3-5 Hearts NPCs to choose from, and they all have different Karma items to trade. when we want these item, we have to repeat the task to get them, IE A has bananas, chef ingredients, but we have B’s hearts , so now we must gain favors with A to get to buy their bananas.

We still get one heart to filled for Fort Salma, but we get to choose which task to complete and gaining which NPCs heart. Instead of Sergeant Yarbrough’s task, why not Plingg the Merchant. for instant, we travel from east to west, along the way we’ve harvested cooking materials, woods etc, we can trade this with Plingg for their hearts.

I think this number 2 is even better because, (according to my playstyle) if I’ve completed a heart, I would have no other reason to re-visit that place unless I am leveling another character, I suspect some players won’t even bother because they could level by crafting alone.
