Hi,

Lvl 80 ranger enjoying the game a lot. Lately have found myself going back to hearts and doing some of the activities even though I get no credit. Doing this from a role-play perspective and because they were fun.

In the future, please consider a way for players to repeat hearts for credit on the same character. Not sure how you would program this but I would really like to experience some of these events again in their entirety.

I like this idea. Some of the hearts were rather fun, and it gives you something to do while waiting for Dynamic Events to spawn.

Plus, it would be phenomenal when I downscale myself to play with friends passing through the same zones I passed through and already completed.

Unfortunately, I think it was stated that the hearts were put in there solely to encourage players to explore around a bit, since the concept of going off on your own with no direction in mind was a bit too foreign for beta testers. Dynamic Events were intended to be the meat and potatoes of questing, so I don’t know how easy it would be to convince ArenaNet to make hearts repeatable.

Dungeons (repeating), and events (repeating, unless new ones are added), and WvW/PvP are about the only things to do after 80.

I would be interesting being able to do the hearts over again. Though it could be a XP exploit if they let us do them over and over. Even if they changed the reward to karma or just gold it could be as well.

You will reach level 80 after doing about 20% of the game’s content, so there’s at least 4x as much stuff to do at 80 before you even need to repeat anything. Of course, you can repeat any parts you enjoyed, but currently not the hearts, and I think that’s what the original poster was referring to (let people repeat that too, if they want, though obviously without the same rewards).

I was not saying that there is not enough content once you hit lvl 80. I was trying to tell Arenanet that I absolutely enjoyed many of the hearts. I was wondering if there would be a way in the future where we had an option to repeat them. If not for the same rewards, then at least for the full experience. Meaning I get to do any and all of the activities associated with them again.

I have tons of PVE content still left to do on my lvl 80 main. But I sometimes slip back to earlier zones and participate in events that I really liked. I will try to do some of the heart stuff but sometimes can’t because I am no longer eligible to contribute.

After you get 100%, each heart should have an option to do it again by talking to the NPC. Itcould have some cost of karma, or gold or maybe a skillpoint. But whatever it is it should be possible. To reset a heart and do it again, even if there’s no reward.

Way too often I get into an event and finish the heart without being able to try all the stuff you can do, and suddenly it gets disabled.

What I’m supposed to do to be able to try all the stuff? Avoid events? Tip-to around other players?.

It’ll be better if I could just try the stuff again.
