Aspiring Brotherhood [PACT]
Fort Aspenwood
I really like the random conversations I overhear when walking around, I don’t want to go into options and turn off dialogue or npc speech or something. But I am driven crazy by things like “WHAT?!” “Out with it” “MONSTERS!!” etc etc
Also please figure out a way to silence the people who sit in town and spam “For Great Justice”
> gains swiftness on roll.
EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST! EAT MAH DUST!
After the total silence and elevator music in GW1, this is a breath of fresh air hearing all the voices around you. But if you go in options, and you put Dialog Volume on minimum, you will not hear any NPC chat or dialog voices.
It might work for players shouts too. I don’t know. I haven’t tested it.
And again, Bruno, mocking people’s threads with smart-arsch answers an no solutions .

Having to disable part of the content is not a solution, because it also deletes the dialogue for the personal quest scenes for example and it is a bad thing to have no conversations around you. The solution for merchants would be to have A LOT MORE sentences and then give each one a random selection from which they can choose.
For player abilities (and possibly for NPCs as well) there should be a slider so everyone can choose how many of them are blocked out (a simple dice roll each time).
I was going to make a bad salad joke, but…
Yeah, the dialogs are kinda repeating a lot. Bit too often. Though I don’t like lowering them, instead add some more. More is almost always good.
I want to be able to turn NPC dialogs and bubbles off completely without having to lose sound for the cut scenes, because I always forget to turn it back on.

An option to disable hearing other players banter and interaction with NPCs would be excellent.
Like when several players access an NPCs wares and you have to hear the NPC spiel over and over and over, while you’re in it’s vicinity.
Also, playing or being around a warrior and having to hear “For Great Justice” every 25secs.. omg please. Just, no. Shoot me in the face.
Shoot me in the face.
lol…I would, but the moderators would just infract me and delete the post.

Yes, this! I like the conversations, but not the banter. If you are wondering what I mean, go to the bank in LA and just sit there for 5 minutes.

I’ve seriously had too much Nolan North. I need a break from him.
