Is there anything we can do with gold spammers, and bot farmers? They have been all over the place, it would really be nice if we can get rid of these type of players, one way or another. Of course, I’m under the assumption that reporting someone actually does something.

If i see someone spamming gold or get an email I report them either for spamming or botting – never sure which is actually the right one to use, dunno if adding ‘gold selling’ to the list of reportable options would help?

There isn’t much you can do, they just steal the accounts of people stupid enough to pay for the farms to create a perpetual cycle. If one gets banned, there are at least three other accounts they can use. At best the only thing reporting does is lower the chances that the gold seller sells all their stuff to sell to other people for real money by less than 1%.
