Can we get an option for something like this please.

It’s especially needed in Tournaments as I keep finding players that just sit at spawn and AFK after the first battle is lost.

Today there was a guy that did nothing the entire match and just chatted about how he didn’t want to be here.

These players are spoiling the tournaments but there is little recourse right now, I’ve reported some as botting as it’s the closest thing to AFK really, unless you want to count joining a tournament and then not playing as scamming….

You reported someone for botting just because they didn’t move? What if they had a phone call or someone was at the door? Sometimes I get called to help with something at my work which is downstairs from my apartment and I have to run real quick. I would be very upset if someone would report me for botting only because I am afk for a few minutes. But I understand that this could be annoying in pvp. There must be a better solution for this. Maybe voting someone out or so, but that would be bad too as the better players will vote a beginner or weaker class out right away.

GW1 had a way to report leeching, if I can recall correctly. Probly needs to be added for tournaments too.

It definately should not be called “afk” in the reporting menu. Some trolls would just send report from every player in PvE that isn’t moving.

People who can argue often offer a good and meaningful conversation about the subject.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.

I think having a specific option to report folks not participating in a PvP match is a good idea. It doesn’t really fall under any of the current options and it really impacts the other folks on the team.

ANet will penalize you for abusing the reporting system, so it would have to be pretty flagrant for me to report folks. I don’t think I would have hesitated to report the guy in your example, Ezrael.
