I gotta say this is the most absurd bot-reporting method I’ve seen in any MMO, I live in fear of accidentally reporting a real friend.

However, it seems the only way to report tele-bots or bots that logoff immediately, you have to add the bot to your Friend List then use “Report”.

Please, if you’re going to insist this is how we have to do it at least put the Bots name of the ‘Report’ dialog, where we select ‘Botting’ from the dro-down to give us 100% positive feedback we’re reporting the correct toon.

The Friends List dialog gives no UI feedback as to which entry is selected, beyond the tooltip has you hover over, it’s far too easy for th emouse to move factionally when right-clicking and I’ll end up reporting a friend!

I’m so scared making a report in error I now rarely report any.

You can add the bot to your /block list instead.

Does it not say the bot account name (not character name) in the top-right corner of the report box as you report? And yes adding to block list is a good solution for now also.
