I was surprised to see that when reporting gold sellers that it did not automatically block them from continuing to spam. Mind blown.

Unfortunately, that could be abused by random trolls reporting innocent people chatting in towns, making them be automatically blocked even though the report is false.

It’s very easy to block a gold spammer even though you have to do so after reporting them. No biggie.

Sometimes I also suspect that some hacked account may be used for advertising gold selling site…like if they are done with the hacked account or simply don’t need it, log on it, giving a few shout or sending some mails, and then just leaving it to die (banned) :/

You don’t understand.

Instead of the current two-step process where you report them (step 1) and then need to block them (step 2), this would make it a one step process. This can hardly be abused and doesn’t affect anyone else.

This seems like a no-brainer and is already implemented in most other games.

Normally it’s some poor sap who’s been hacked. Sellers don’t create accounts in this game really.
I dunno though…..people should be more careful with their security…..maybe they should be blocked if they’re gonna get themselves hacked :p

In my opinion, I want this.

It will encourage more people to report gold sellers. Instead of just blocking them.

The two steps process is very tedious when you have endless amount of bots everywhere. Over time, you would skip the report step and go straight to the block function.

I want this for mail too. If I report something as gold selling I want it delete the message and block the sender.
