This focus has a lot of clipping issues with leg armour, plus if I attempted to hold a book like that in RL I’d destroy the spine. My suggestion would be to change the grip so the spine is held in the palm of the hand, the cord goes around the back of the hand, and the book rests against the inside of the fore-arm, like a college freshman posing around campus. It’s a more natural feel to how a large book should be held in one hand, and doesn’t end up looking like a handbag or lunchbox. The way it hangs on the waist when not in combat could do with some tweaking too.

Godswalk Enchiridion likely suffers from the same issues too, seeing as it is essentially the same model but with a different skin. If anyone is thinking of getting this focus (250 dust!) it might be wise to check out pictures to see if how it is held and if the clipping is may be too much of an issue. Have the Arcanus on my norn guardian and it spends most of the time inside my leg armour, it’s probably not heavy armour wearers that it affects as most light armour wearers have overskirts that stick out.

I agree, have the books hover when drawn. Godswalk Enchiridion can easily have some sort of aura affect around it.
