Request for "boots" slot!
I would like for the two side toes of my feet not to clip outside the boots. I mean seriously?
I am serious! I used to play lotro and i liked it at my hobbit so do not troll!

I think it’s deliberate. It depends on the boots. Some cover the 3 toes, some cover only the middle toe, some don’t cover any toes, and some “remove” the side toes.
Try a different boot model.
It would be even better if you had a 3-state checkbox for each and every piece:
- Show armor
- Show costume
- Hide
I’d like to have the option to hide both feet and hands. Would go well with some of the more barbarian style armors.
Just please never make the chest or pants hideable. I have no issues with nudity, but it would look pretty stupid and be very immersion-breaking to have guilds full of nudists running around, and of course there would be.
I think every piece of clothing should have the show/hide checkbox. That’s what Rift does and it works very well.
Hello. its been a month but i still can not see my asura feet (with boots on) !
I would like the bottom of my feet to look dirty when I take my boots off and walk abound. As for the OP, do what I do. Take your kitten boots off, you lazy kitten!

This 100%.
I don’t see the harm in letting us have all armor have check boxes to show/hide. Like you said, Rift does this already and it works just fine.
Lady Bethany Of Noh – Chronomancer – Lords of Noh [LoN]
It seems like a good idea but then people like me would starting getting annoyed at humanity because of all the naked Human/Norn females that would be running around fighting at full capacity…
I think they played it safe enough with helmet and shoulders.
People would then start requesting exotic underwear skins….
However, if they added a ‘costume slot’ for armour like what previous games have done, that would be pretty cool although that kind of makes transmutation stones redundant.

I’m pretty sure this is already the case with human/norn males/females, or at least it did when my characters lost half their armour in the lag-fest known as the Lost Shores opening event. Can’t speak for other races though, unless you mean a gradual appearance of dirt as you move around.
The option to show/hide armour pieces is something I’d like to see though (why should I lose stats for wanting to hide my gloves?), but unfortunately, it seems that ANet have other priorities, like appeasing gear grinders and no doubt raids, inspection and mounts will just be around the corner too.

Any naked human running around I’ll just treat as a bot and leave them in the dirt when they go down!
As for costume slots, ANet could implement a system similar to LOTRO where you can activate empty cosmetic slots to hide your armour pieces (or insert another armour piece to override the one you’re wearing but keep existing stats). It was one way I could properly roleplay my hobbit, as no self-respecting hobbit wears shoes!

Guild Wars 1 had such a system, in fact, although it was restricted to head slot and everything-else slot.
People don’t hate Scarlet like Game of Thrones fans hate Joffrey.
They hate her the way Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks.
