Please, restore the heroes battle for GW1

I don’t like the pvp in GW2 ( too casual and too bored for me)
8 vs 8 in random team ? you can sleep and win without touch your mouse …

So i prefer play Random arena in GW1
4 vs 4 in random team is better than the 8 vs 8 RA

But i would like to can play again with this great mod : The heroes battle.
For me, it was my best pvp experience in GW.
Nobody seem use the codex arena.
Why not to restore the heroes battle with the rules of the codex arena ?

you can random free tourneys. as RA thre are quitters, as RA it is random

Ture, besides the fact of premades, not able to /resign and long matches (10 mins).
For these players without guild / fix-team it’s not easy to get into it at all.

HA would be hard to implement, cause it was in most cases deathmatch. As you said some restrictions like in codex or limited classes would support that mode. And something like capture the flag or relic run (w/e you wanna implement) would avoid the zerg and get some tactics in it with splitting the team.

To dissapoint you. Guildwars 2 pvp has allrdy uncountable problems in itself. I think something compared to that will take a longer time. Mabye in 2014

Too long to explain all, but the pvp in GW2 is a deception.

My bad. Totally missunderstood.
It’s hard to get a dead mode back into game again.

I played it till the release of gw2 and in the last days we had like 20+ recounts. Wasn’t fun either :/

They have closed the heroes battle because it was too easy to win points.
And some idiots used the command /random100 to décide the winner and to gain the points faster.
But now, we don’t care the points.
So it’s a good moment to restore the heroes battle for the players who like it.

Impossible to restore. Because all the good players are in gvg or left. And the bad – average players won’t care anymore being farmed. As A-net only carry gw2 there will be no changes anyway.

Well, the good point is that you only need 2 players for a match, so for example 10 players can make the format look active. I guess it may be a good idea because i believe GW1 formats are quite inactive and unplayable today.

@Abazigal, yes, some formats are near of inactive, this is a good reason.
And it would be easy for the developers to restore the heroes battle ( if it has not been deleted completely)

Well at the end of gw1 ha, there were only r11+ ppl who still played and 2-3 low-ranked teams. After the release it went completely dead and the rest of these players left, joined gvg.

It’s not about taste anymore when there are just no grps to play against. So you pick another competitive mode. So in the end you play gvg, there’s nothing more left in gw1

you are too stupid or you are just a troll ^^

And apparently you do not know read ( and not the first time than I make this remark), Abazigal.3679 has explained why a small format like the heroes battle is better than 8v8 for GW1 (because like this it can stay more active).
