Since classes/traits/builds were changed, some made more viable for others, should people get an option to “De-Transmute” our legendary back from the exotic/soulbound to Legendary and make it account bound again. (Non sellable on TP ofc)

The precedent set by the wvw trait reset favors this action but this would be a way bigger step. Gem store, Gold, Or Free would be ok with me in methods to go about it, it could be a great gold sink. Pay 50g and transfer your legendary for fun!

It could fix a number of things such as people who transmuted theirs and want the original version back. Or who played an axe ranger, and would like their Rangers Frostfang, on a warrior now. etc.

Would this be fair? I cant see why not, it would be a “hassle” sure, but it would be a great gold sink, while not creating any problems with economy. The moa racing was a gold sink, but sure lucky people MADE money. This would be a pure gold sink.

Legendaries should have been ‘account bound on use’ to begin with.

They should also offer a way to change stats on ascended gear or trade them in for a different version.

Yeah the moment you could just buy one, it ceased to be legendary. It became like a Lamborghini – just a status symbol that says “I’m rich”
