I think it would be a much more useful (and cool) item if it were an “Asuran pocketknife” of sorts, acting as a multi-purpose gathering tool. I would buy that in a heartbeat. Just a thought.

I have no useful input here, but I’m always amused when people fashion their game suggestions using Asuran technology.

That said, my Norn hands are entirely too large and clumsy to work a tiny little Asuran pocketknife.

I have a feeling that if the pick sells well, we will be seeing axes and sickles in the future. I have just been having a hard time thinking of what kind of effect they would put on the sickle to make it cool.

The only revision I could think of for the pick would be for ArenaNet to take a page from The Secret World. They sell their clothing as character bound but you can make it account bound by paying a 25% premium over the regular price. It is more expensive but you have that item of clothing available for all of your characters.

So have the soul bound pick for its price (800 gems if I am remembering correctly) and then offer an account bound version for some additional amount. I would probably pay a 50% premium to buy one of the picks (and later implements) that is account bound.

The Asura could manufacture different sizes for all of the clumsier races!
