I appreciate the effort you devs have currently put in to the daily system but there is more can be done to be fair to all players.

Devs will you consider putting into the game a way for players to catch up on daily achievements that they have missed or a create a system that doesn’t put players who have put in the same over all playtime way behind others with currency such as karma and laurels?

Its nice to be fair to everyone but its hard to balance rewards and motivation for people to play. I understand dailys do get players to populate the world every day but for many its a very short time as they are relatively easy and players playing for longer periods over a shorter week can be just as useful to the game as short time daily players.

It is de-motivating when you fall way behind your friends and guildies with rewards that can help get you better equipment without spending gold just because you don’t have the schedule to be available in game every day but may put in as much or more playtime over all

I know many will say why motivate players who play anyway? Well why daily rewards then? As time moves on players who do not have the personal schedule for daily’s will fall further behind with karma and laurels especially. Some may not care but some may be so frustrated with their inability to keep up with the Jones’ and seek a new game that may suit them instead. Rewards are for us all and I am not asking for any more or less for all the player base.

Ok this is from a very personal and a selfish viewpoint so no need for personal attacks to tell me so folks but it could make sense for the game. My job means there are full days that I can not log in as there will be good reasons for very many players I would think also. I am also sure there are a lot of players who can’t log on for weeks or months at a time.

What does anyone else think on this. Is it such a bad thing or is everyone happy to miss dailys and the rewards on a regular basis because you cant be available for specific day even when you put in plenty of play hours and activity otherwise.

No. The rewards from dailies are directly proportionate to the amount of time you play the game. If you do not play the game as much, you still get the rewards as dailies do not reset with the server; simply keep at it until you do.

Everyone has an opportunity to do anything in the game, be it Legendaries or Jumping Puzzles or whatnot. But you won’t be able to take advantage of those opportunities if you don’t play the game.

Falling behind friends and guildies? Get them to help you.

What are you on about? Dailys do reset at midnight uk time and a player can play 1 hour a day for a week, get every daily and play 4 hours a day for 4 days and miss 3 dailys. You can’t catch up on dailies so theres no point asking friends. If I fall behind I fall behind, I see a new game and think it suits me better I go. If devs really want to keep people like myself on a way to motivate this is to make dailies able to be retroactive and caught up. Im pretty sure there are enough of people in my situation for them to care about. If enough of us find the game doesnt’ cater for us well and we lose interest and move on then the community diminishes. It may not affect you or it may in the long term but I think it suits Anet to give my question thought.
