Reworking Dungeons
i personally believe that implementing them would make the GW2 dungeon experience much more complete, rewarding, and immersive.
… for you.
Expect this to be moved to the dungeon subforum and be prepared to be flamed to the seven hells and back.
This has been suggested a million times before, and no, it’s a bad idea.
Mobs leashed in GW1 as well, and the dungeon experience was pretty good there. Even in elite dungeons, mobs leashed.
This problem can be answered very easily: don’t like skipping mobs? Don’t skip mobs. In the meantime, I’ll be here, not wasting my time killing useless trash.
I agree that they should make their drops more worthwhile though. Look at UW and FoW in GW1, where trashmobs were sort of worth it to kill, because they had a chance of dropping shards or ecto’s. Or the mobs in the Deep and Urgoz, because they had the chance to drop uninscribable Zodiac weapons, which could be worth quite a bit.

“My forum thread was flamed, how will i be able to go on?” Big deal.
It was just a personal opinion, and i clearly stated that i happen to enjoy dungeons anyway, skipping or no skipping, so cut the “Don’t like skipping, then don’t skip” crap.
