I’m not a serious forum reader but I haven’t seen this one suggested anywhere yet . . . instead of preventing someone from rezzing while the rest of the group is fighting, why not put them on a timer that keeps increasing the more they die? The first death could be a 10s timer, say, then the second one 15s, the third 20s, and so on. This would prevent zerg tactics and it would also prevent the problem I just had, where I had to sit and be bored for 10 minutes while the rest of my group killed a boss.

I’ve seen it suggested before. Heck, its even been implemented into the game in other places (they had a mechanic exactly like this in Toypocolypse, every time you died it took longer before you could respawn).

I agree it would be better than the current situation.
