I thought i was going to be able to use it with my armour, outside of battle with singets affecting my movement speed. I was really disappointed when i could only use it with Town Clothes.
In the gem store it says: Move in style with a Riding Broom and you see a human in his armour riding the Broom like he should. Looks really sweet!
What you really get is a broom that you can only use while in town clothes and your stretching your arms out like your balancing on it.
Sorry, but you need to make these items better, the animations and how you can use them. I thought it would be more like a mount, same speed as your character, affected by singets movement speed. but nah
I’m using the broom and I have no problems with those arms. Also, for some reason I knew that was gonna be town clothes/no skills allowed deal, because I’m pretty sure that’s what I read in the description of the item before I purchased it.
When you click on the quaggan backpack for example, it displays it with your armor on, however when you select the broom it displays it with your townclothes on, hence why it was obvious to me this was a townclothes item. Doesn’t take a genious to see that connection really.
it was said in the description it is a toy slot, where in armor slots do you see a toy? nowhere…
so it was pretty clear it was just for town clothes and funny riding in the city! i love it! i will have it!

I agree it was obvious it was for town clothing in the description. But it would still be better if Anet would add text in the lower right corner of the description of all
skins (town or armor).
oh, wait, i get it! you were hoping to use the broom, a TOY, as a mount, right?
remember, anet said — no mounts.
It is a Cosmetic Mount.
And remember when you quote Anet you need to put that link on here so people can read it and agree with you, except they never said —no mounts. And well they never said yes to mounts , but here we are with the riding broom.
