Chiefly for strict naming conventions. People who do not want to RP have no business going into an RP server, and people of a certain mindset can socialize. It is a tremendous boon to personal enjoyment to have a place set aside for people who are looking for (generally) a like-minded playstyle, and if they’re like me, they resent vulgar, or ridiculous names. (No need to display vulgar names, but names like dsfgfg, lkjfadf, The lord ur god, the law of god, i pwn noobz, etc…) Having a place set aside for people who wish to immerse themselves more fully would be very rewarding to the players.

People got friends on many servers , sometimes they want to play with said friends , even when they are not RPers , also could happen that they are on a Overflow from their on server and ended up on the “RP” server ( did Anet ever even given a server this title? i only remm players deciding over this themselves)

I dislike many RPers , self entitlement , that is a thing that drives me up to the walls. Players should be able to , inside Anet rules , do what they want , like usually RPers want people to allow them to do.

Still i would appreciate if Anet separated their server , never entering it even by accident is something i would consider a win.

This has been suggested several times, and I will be always against this.

Not because I dislike RP, but because there’s no need for an special world to RP, and I’m against worlds with different rulesets. No PK worlds, not level 80 worlds, no RP worlds, not higher or lower loot worlds, no worlds without the trading post, no ‘hard mode’ worlds.

All worlds should be equal, and choosing one should be to be with your friends, not because you like this or that more than that or this other thing.
