PLEASE give us smaller downloads! Fix a few bugs at a time and let us test the results. Stop making us wait forever to get stuff patched, and then making us sit through 500-1000 MB downloads. A good tech guy will tell you not to make a ton of changes all at once. You’re only asking for more problems.

Fix a couple things. Give us the patch. Make sure it is fixed, then move on to the next thing. When you wait forever in between patches, we get antsy and wonder if you’re doing anything at all. Then when you finally give us that mega-download, you wind up with more new bugs.

Keep it simple. Keep it small. Results will be more certain, and we will have a sense that you are still there helping us perfect the game.

considering the number of bugged events that have plagued this game from the get go I was surprised so see the rate of patches slow down dramatically since November…..as if there wasn’t important stuff to fix.

Patching new content is good and all but I too would rather not have to wait 2 months for something as crucial as the fractal disconnect bug or major imbalances.

They waited several months to post a fix for the numerous bugs in the Total Makeover Kit, all the while continuing to sell faulty Kits. Some bugs were fixed, but I know of at least 2 new bugs it has now. But since their “mass update” policy invariably causes multiple new problems, the Total Makeover Kit will probably get shoved to the back of the cue again (being an optional kinda thing, and not a bug preventing quest completion or something more immediately important.) And the kits are still on sale.

No god please no. Way to many interruptions to the game as it is.

I don’t have too many game interruptions. The “Your game will restart in 3 minutes” thing is annoying if that’s what you mean. It kills a lot of events and dungeon runs. But it doesn’t come up that often. What other interruptions do you experience? A small weekly update when I log in doesn’t bother me a bit.

MY SOLUTION: To fix the “restart in 3 minutes” thing, they need to give you an HOUR to restart. That way not everyone will be logging out and back in at the same time. Most people will have time to finish what they are doing. (It’d make for faster downloads too, since the whole community won’t be trying to get the update at the same time.)

It was nice during the Betas when they saved most patches for late night. (Yes, I know late night means nothing in a worldwide community. But a more REGULAR time for patches would be less annoying than having them pop up at unexpected times.)

try WvW we get the game is shutting down soon … 5 seconds later done. No advanced warning, no buffer, just thrown out … most siege lost, entire battles and plans ruined. And then whoever spams the rejoin and gets lucky and gets in first has free reign.

Hmm… I’m not a WvWer, so I don’t experience that one.

More people are catching on to using WvW as a free route to LA instead of paying waypoint fees. I bet that will become a pain eventually too, not being able to get right into your WvW fun because of tourists passing through.
