You can already buy extra character slots for 800 Gems each on the Gem Store.

i think the op was suggesting a discount, like the sales week end

They did have a discount on them a month or two ago.

I’m thinking NO on things that are more than cosmetic items or temporary buffs or things like that.

ANet gave us fewer than 8 slots to begin with (the number of professions) so that those of us who wanted to try them all would have to give them more money. If they discount it now, I will scream bloody murder for a refund. I don’t mind you having a silly pirate outfit that you got for a special sale price. But a whole CHARACTER cheaper than what I had to pay? THPPPT! I paid full price for more Bank space too. Don’t even go there.

don’t get mad, but if you buy a pair of shoes in march you can’t be mad if people buy the same pair of shoes it in july with sales…
that said if sales on bank or character slots are to be made every single player in the game should now they can happen and when (that would be fair enough i think)
