Simple idea, salvaging ascended gear to give the appropriate number of laurels back. Laurel count depends on the kit used and item salvaged.

Amulets cost 30 laurels, so black lion salvage gives say 15. Master 10 etc etc.

Hum… no, the laurels should be a reward from completing daily tasks. But I’d accept globs and mist essences from ascended stuff. My bank is getting full of rings I either already have or wont use, and the selling price is really really low
