I would not be surprised if this suggestion has come up before but now that we have ascended mats why not allow Ascended Rings to be salvaged into Ascended Mats. I have an obscene over supply of Ascended rings sitting in my bank/character bags. All of my characters have their ascended infused rings already and the rest are just taking up space. Currently the only option is to sell them to a vendor for a measly ~4s. I don’t think the intention with these items was for them to be vendor trash so I am curious what steps might be taken.

I wish I could trade them back in for a portion of the purchased laurels. I have several characters with rings that I no longer play. Getting laurels or ascended rings isn’t very easy for me, because, well, I refuse to PvE.
