Globs of Dark Matter are only obtained by salvaging Exotics, and they are Account Bound (in fact, a lot of the new materials are Account Bound). It would make a lot of sense to allow us to convert old, unwanted, and dropped Ascended items into something useful, plus the mechanics already exist in the game!

We should have something to do/to make with all these ascended items ! You just can’t throw it to the trash…

You know all those ascended rings we got from fractals but have no use for since we don’t run the builds they’re for?

Give us a way to get rid of them – Mystic Forge, Salvage – just SOMETHING. I have a char full of them.
