It is sometimes, especially for the new GW2 players, hard to know which items are salvageable.

So I suggest: when you click on the salvage kit the salvageable items will be highlighted in blue, and the rest will be red(or grey).

Similar to the mystic forge and crafting.

Could have sworn that already happens. Maybe I’m just tired

Edit: I understand what you’re saying now. Highlight them while the kit is active…not just when you mouse over them. I like the idea

It’s a good idea, why didn’t they do it long ago? lol
I am really sick of checking every item in my inventory, especially when it’s completely filled.
