Put a "Can NOT salvage warning on vendor gear tooltips, so that players don`t waste a kitten load of karma buying this crap only to find out they can`t salvage it for the runes.

I`m now left with six pieces of crap that can`t be vendored, salvaged or kitten all.

You cannot salvage:

- Back items
- Some starting equipement
- Town Clothing
- Items bought with karma
- Items bought from vendors for gold (it was possible earlier but got patched recently)

Exceptions:
You can salvage cultural armor though it is bought with coins.

One place where this would be very useful is on the TP. People can sell off white armor and weapons bought on vendors for many times the purchase price (ok, so it’s still in the 45 copper range). Not an issue except the daily and monthly salvage achieves can be filled in nicely by buying some very cheap whites. On the TP you have no way of telling if you are getting a vendor-bought or mob-dropped item, and almost no one is going to buy level 2 whites from the TP -except- to salvage. So a no-salvage line in the tool tip would save frustration.

I think I read that if its all karma, not a mix of karma and cash pieces, you can put it in the mystic forge.

Geez the forum filters are crazy, can’t say cash &items&, becomes cakittenems. Makes me realize how often I am talking dirty and don’t even know it. They should call this filter the Puritan filter because it sees dirty words everywhere. :/

I bought the items with my main, wanted them on a level 80 bank alt that hasn`t made it any further afield then just outside Divinity` reach.
Therefore i can`t tranny them because soulbound useless piece of bank filling crap.

You can transmute soulbound items. Thieves do it to regain the starter hood. Look that up and just do the same thing with the items you bought. It will still say soulbound afterwards but it will allow you to wear it.
