Salvaging Confirmation - RAGE
Yes quick delete and salvage options would be most welcome.
I promise I won’t come here and whine if I screw up and delete something important.
GOOD GRACIOUS ALMIGHTY — for the sake of all things on this planet and the sanity of every species of crafter! Please remove the confirmation dialog or give us the option to disable the ACCEPT dialog when we wish to salvage something!
Please, please, please, please, please, please…. please.
This goes beyond simple convenience… it is almost a repetitive stress issue of ergonomics! OMG… c’mon! Thousands upon thousands of additional movements and clicks… ugh.
Please.
At least on the green items, I just don’t want to accidentally salvage a Rare/Exotic.
They could also leave the “Accept/Decline” but after clicking Accept – we wouldn’t have to find our salvage kit and activate it again.
I absolutely second that motion. An option that disables the warning would be a huge relief. And that applies especially to high lvl rares and exotics, since only they can yield globs of ectoplasm. Also pvp gear is alway exotic. Salvaging a lot of those in a row means 4 klicks per item instead of one, plus the additional travelling distance: salvage kit – item – accept -salvage kit – … it quickly becomes a rather tedious process.
As long as its optional, this sounds like a good idea.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.
Maybe add in a slider option on what rarity to have a confirmation? White (all)→ blue → green → rare → exotic → None
At the very least, dont deselect the salvage kit after clicking yes/no on a green/rare/exotic/whatever. As a matter of fact, why even have it deselecte if you accidently try to use it on a non-salvagable item.

Game over
Whoops, you just salvaged your exotic equipment instead of that rag because your mouse lagged for a brief moment. In that case you’d probably wish there was a prompt window.
If you are that concerned with misclicks, then you obviously wouldn’t deactivate the warning option (should there ever be one…).
Suggestion: holding shift while salvaging would prevent the confirmation dialog from appearing. This would be very intuitive to Windows users since it would be similar to how shift+delete deletes a file rather than sending it to the recycle bin.
I would suggest to also change so that the salvage kit is not deselected after clicking yes on the confirmation dialog or attempting to salvage a non-salvage:able item.

this would be perfect
