Guild Wars 2

2 hour queues and if you dc from the log in server ( not your own fault, you dc to the character select ) or crash because of some crappy game bug you’re forced to wait back in line.

last night was wvw reset and i got to play 1 hour before the game dced me then i queued up waited 1 hour queue poped then the log in servers crashed for most of us and you guys did rollbacks on us.

Commanders ( which were essential in our fight who were doing important leading tasks disconnected and then it went to chaos and slowed down.

TLDR: SAVE OUR ID IN THE WvW SLOT WHEN WE DC/CRASH.

Absolutely. It’s getting ridiculous.

Coupled with the random disconnect issues I’m having, it’s impossible for me to get into WvW and that is the best thing about this game by far. In fact, it’s the main thing keeping me around.

Just give people a 5 minutes timer to get back.

I don’t even care if they bring me back dead and drop a bag for whoever I disconnected in front of, just bring me back!

Yeah it happened in Crystal Desert. Which is why we started off so bad.

yeah. if not a 5 min timer then at least a 2 min timer.

i agree, give it a 5 minute timer to get back on and relog.

most computers can start up and get the game running in less than 5 minutes, and its short enough that spots wont be taken up for long

It would be nice for it to keep your spot even if you log off and stay at character creation. Too many times I logged out to check something only to lose my spot. It’s bullkitten.

Actually I think it would be better if you lose your spot when you die, and have to requeue. (when you die you get 120s to wait for someone to rez you, if noone does, then you get disconnected from WvW and go back to queue.)

This will make the turnover in the queue much faster and let everyone have a chance at playing more quickly – the wait times will be much reduced. Just dont die.

Would also drastically cut down many player’s tendancy to zerg suicide at objectives until they’re busted with large groups. I like it.

Or you could just move to a server without a 2 hour queue. QQ

that’s a stupid comment, why would i move servers because they cannot work a decent queue system?

Not moving again. I like the JQ teamspeak crew (and I am not someone who is comfortable with voice chat, so that’s saying something).

I’m just now building a guild bank (my one other guild member has no time to play so it took forever to get the points), and I’m not losing it.

I want to be able to play during any hour of the day or night and have people on my server in WvW to play with. Yes, that means queues, and I’m fine with queues, what I’m not fine with is PVE botters clogging them up, and disconnect issues putting me back in the queues when I finally do get in. Both these issues (and the disconnect issue itself) need fixing pronto, because WvW is really the only thing about this game that will keep me coming back, and if I can’t play, I have no use for GW2.
