Save your character build...
Having a keybind for a fast skill swap at the very least would be incredibly useful for some professions, who have more than three useful skills, even without trait synergy, that they might wish to call upon situationally. Especially true in WvWvW. +1
yup, stability for example is a very situational buff, I would not be using that utility skill unless I sense it coming right before battle, and i don’t think it will be OP since once you engage in battle you can no longer switch.
Yes please. Saving at least traits could be of some use :-?
For traits it’s simple, when you go to the vendor a quick look up at the on disk files and add some options for them to offer retraiting you.
e.g. I’d like to apply trait template <drop down list> $$$
Requires an option to save your current traits as a template.
And now to sell it to the bean counters …
Then of course there needs to be a BL item “Express Trait Trainer” which you can buy for gems! $$$$$$!
This feature needs to be brought back as well as last log in for guilds, and foe uw deep urgoz dos etc, come on I thought this was guild wars 2? Not guild world 1 lol
GUILD WARS 1 VETERAN
The problem is that being able to easily respec your skills and traits actually creates a problem of people switching their builds around like crazy for each type of pull when your builds is still supposed to matter. This system worked a lot better in the first game because everything was instanced and cities/outposts were the clearly designated area for you to get new equipment or skills or heroes or whatever, but in Guild Wars 2 everything is (for the most part) an open world so there would have to be some arbitrary location for you to be able to swap skills around, but where would it be in an open world?
I’m not saying it couldn’t work and I definitely miss having skill templates but it’s not so simple to implement in this game because it’s so fundamentally different.
This has been suggested a lot, since it was in GW1
I suggested a Trait / Weapon / skill Save, only can switch out of combat,
I do believe this has been commented by devs as being on the List. however its not very high priority atm.
gw1 didnt have it right away either. give it time it will come
Oh yes, this is one of the biggest thing I miss about the first game. Savable builds. So far I just have half a notebook full of my various char’s specs. =/
