Yesterday I got my Scroll of Experience from the 5k Achievement Point RC.
I found this scroll extremely useful, because it instantly buffed one of my newer characters I’ve created from Level 2 to Level 20 ^^

So I had’t to waste time levelign up that twink for that time to reach this level.
I wouöld find it nice, if you would add more Scrolls of this type to the game for reachign higher levels that should be rarer as rewards for later RC’s

The current Scroll is of masterwork quality.

The other scrolls could be then like this:

Scroll of Major Experience > Rare
Increases a Character’s Level up to Lvl 40, if that Character hasn’t reached that Level yet.

Scroll of Superior Experience > Exotic
Increases a Character’s Level up to Lvl 60, if that Character hasn’t reached that Level yet

Scroll of Sagacious Experience > Ascendend
Increases a Character’s Level up to Lvl 80, if that Character hasn’t reached that Level yet.

That these kind of scrolls get somehow implemented into the game to.
They would be awesome in helping your twinks up and be especially useful for those of us players, wehich have really alot of twinks.

And please make those consumeable scrolls SELLABLE. They shouldn’t be accountbound. These kind of scrolsl would be really a nice thing to sell and make some nice money with them, if you have no use for them, but maybe someone else …
These kind of scrolls remind me on the skill tomes and elite skill tomes of GW1 and there these kind of items were also sellable !!

Personally I would say that the current scroll is bad enough.
People shouldn’t be able to skip half the game (and we all know that if people got these, they would use them to get to level 80 and then spam the forums about there being nothing to do in the game).

You don’t skip the game, it just levels characters, you don#t skip the game’s story or anything like that, A character which has used such a scroll must still do his/her personal story ect.

True, but at the same time you can, because of it, skip the low-level maps and go directly to the higher level ones.

And ? What does this bring to you? First you need to equip your twink anyway.
These scrolls are just an item for convenience.

Even if you have for that already premade crafted equipment, that is just waiting in your bank for such a buffed up instant 80 new character..
It doesn’t make a difference, if you go now with a twink on farming at the high level places, of if you go with your main char, that you leveled up over long time.

Newbies don’t get their hands on these kinds of scrolls, because they don’t have the required achievement points for these scrolls/ nor would have newbies the gold to buy them. for newbies is it easier/faster to get the first 20 levels just by playign the game normally

i recieved it this morning and i was like: “whata!?” had to go goodle it!
Now i’m gonna go and make my 5:th character. He’s gonna be an asura necro with that old face and T3 cultural!

I loved that they put this scroll in the 5k achieve chest. I’d like to assume (and sure, its simply an assumption) that anyone with 5k achievement points or more has already gone through most of the low level maps on 2 or more characters. And sure, maybe its useless to those who already have 8 lvl 80s, but to those of us who didn’t, this made it so we could level a character to lvl 20 and skip a lot of stuff that we have already seen, that is meant to teach a new person the game. (Like those level 3 hearts you do to level in each zone).

This is the reasoning I have. As said above, the Lv20 scroll we do have is “bad enough” – but we can at least justify it in this context, that anyone with 5,000 achievement points is experienced at this game.

60s and 80s? NO. Absolutely, positively not. Horrible idea; it’s easy enough to gain levels anyway, and because of the scaling, the only REAL use of an insta-80 is to immediately jump into Fractals or WvW.

40? No, I still think that’s too high. It’s not as patently offensive as a 60 or 80 would be, however. But ideally, I would not want to see one higher than 30. 30 is the perfect mark for a “Veteran” status – you get your full skillbar AND access to the first dungeon.

The goal of the item is a head-start. Not a full free ride.

Honestly.

Craft to 80, if you want to spent the cash.
WVW to 80, still level just as fast
Event to level 80 from first zone
Killing the same level 2 creature over and over to 80
Scroll to 80.

80 is just the beginning
