I would love to have some sort of big, bold hint regarding the search function appear whenever someone is trying to create a new topic, a little bit like the the ‘warning’ you get when creating a support ticket.

I, for one, really like the ‘Players helping players’ forum, but I am sick and tired of having to explain again and again and again and again and again and again… how to level and which professions good or not. And I know pretty much all forums suffer from annoying repeat topics…

Therefore, I would welcome a very noticable search-function-indicator popping up whenever someone is trying to create a new topic.

Search thread titles for key words is very helpful in other forums. I posted my first thread and thought for sure that someone would have asked or suggested it already, but I could not find a valid way to search the thread titles for say “pets” or “ranger” that way I could browse what came up and bump a relevant thread rather than create a new one, I did type pets in the search at the top and I got all kinds of random posts. I thought I was just being daft for not figuring out how to search for thread titles only. I’d imagine since it is a feature of most other forums, it would be easy to accommodate.
