Since Anet is giving awards on our toons’ birthdays I think we should be able to see the actual birthday. Maybe it could be on the character select screen or a new command like /age.

that was a command in GW1, they should bring it back

If you type /age it will tell you how many days you’ve had the character. It’s not as good as getting a date but you can do some math to figure it out.

It only tells you the days up til the first month. After that it’s “<x> months”. Checked this on my first toon, says 11 months, no days, no hours, no anything.

I agree that the “birth” date should be viewable. As I have 32 toons (yes, I know, I know) it’d help me to know when to check on an alt.
