Ok, so what I’m suggesting here as follows:
I really like the idea of targeted emotes, but I think it would be even cooler if targeting could be expanded to custom emotes. I guess it’d require a little additional coding but hopefully nothing super hard. I mean, I just think it’d be nice if we could type
something like /e hug @ *while targeting someone*
to get "[Player] hugs [target].
Also, to go even further (this is where I figure even more coding would be needed), perhaps functionally could be added to process something like /e intimidated by @
into "[Player] is intimidated by [target]." Not an awesome example I guess but hey, they’re custom emotes so the exact actions emotes being expressed are slightly irrelevant.
So yea, to conclude I guess maybe if you guys were to add this, it might entail code that looks for prepositions in the input to decide how to render the emote.
