This was something that was employed in Warhammer Online that I and many players found helpful. Having a separate tab in the inventory to hold any token currencies we get, be they badges of honor, or PvE dungeon tokens. This would free up space in our regular inventory, and let us keep close tab on our token count so that we would waste time going to a bank, taking the tokens and bringing them to a vendor, only to realize, we don’t have enough.

This was also implemented in World of Warcraft to alleviate the immense number of tokens you could end up with. It’s simply a matter of convenience, and it’s already been shown with skill points that this is possible (since you can buy things from Miyani with them).

This would be convenient.
