Hi guys , I really hope ( I’m sure that every one does too ) that you separate F actions , suck as looting , reviving and talking.
We have a big problem while looting in dungeons , zergs or WvW as we revive / talk to some one instead of looting which gets us killed !!
My idea is to give us an option to set a different button for each of them which will make it a lot easier.

An auto loot will be coming in a patch sometimes but I agree that adding the option to set different hotkeys would be great. I hate talking to an NPC while trying to loot! And for those who will not use this “new autoloot” (mostly useful in WvW), that’d be better to simply have different hotkeys.

I don’t agree. Having the ‘F’ key do everything was a fantastic design choice. I don’t have to think about what button to press to do any given action. Instead I only had to memorize one.

Besides; just think of what you’ll miss if they remove some of the functionality.

• Talking to an NPC in a boss battle instead of rezzing your ally
• Picking up that banner instead of rezzing your ally
• Picking up your turret instead of picking up your loot bag

I often like having F key do everything; however, on occasion this has resulted in a wipe.

For example, in the Harpy fractal at the golem where you need to start the fan to get rid of the gas. Sometimes someone dies right next to the fan or the crystals and when you go to pick up the crystals or start the fan and hit F you immediately start reviving the dead ally (and then die yourself to trap the next ally to come and save the day). I know you can target the fan, but sometimes it is hard to select it if they are directly on top of it. If there was a separate button for revive this wipe wouldn’t occur.

It’d be nice if you could keybind all these actions, but also have them all default set to F

Don’t change how the F key works!
I have stupendous amounts of fun griefing people opening boss chests by dropping portals!
(This post may not be entirely serious; I have done this in the past however, and it is DEEPLY funny).

Picking up that banner instead of rezzing your ally

Even better when trying to stomp someone.

“I’m gonna use this 90s portal-cd to stomp this guard amidst his group”

lays exit portal
starts stomp
takes portal
waits a moment than presses F to take portal back

“What stupid warrior just placed a banner on my portal”

I’m all for being able to bind different keys to different actions, but at least give us the option to change the priority these actions have when pressing “F”.
