We really need to separate the action button I can’t even begin to count how many times I got killed or just severely annoyed by trying to pick up loot and accidently started reviving a dead useless NPC or talk to them with this HUGE dialog box across the screen that obstructs my view of what is going on. This is a real problem during big events where you have to spam the pick up button (Because auto loot is a joke) so you don’t miss your loot possibly that exotic you have been looking to get for months.

In short the action button should be cut into three separate functions and controlled by three separate keys.

1. Talk / do / start and action
2. REVIVE
3. Pick up loot

There is no reason this couldn’t implemented easily for the people that are used to it keep the default the same just for the love of god make it an option that can be changed in the options section.

Well, looting is already prioritized over all other actions, so that’s a good step they took.

To me, a better solution would just be to make the NPC’s less obnoxious, especially in dungeons like Arah where they insist on standing right square on top of you… Have them stand at a bit of range, because they’re next to useless anyway, and all they do is screw up fights rather than help in them.

Not to mention I’d like to see a reduction in their hp, or just set them to non-active in combat always. A dead NPC is usually a lot more useful than a living one. And that’s because a mentally challenged dog is on average more intelligent than their AI…

Oh, and pathing issues… If I see Agent Spire running back to the start of the dungeon when we’re skipping the champion, only to result in her getting killed in the hallway one more time, I’m gonna punch a Quaggan…

Well, looting is already prioritized over all other actions, so that’s a good step they took.

While this is true is doesn’t help during an event that has loads of mobs dead on the ground and an NPC is in the middle of them like Harathi for example you can’t tell what mobs have loot because there are so many on the ground and moving a fraction of an inch can mean the difference of talking or reviving an NPC and picking up your loot.

Well, dat miners have discovered that an AoE loot system will be implemented in a foreseeable future, so that should fix most of your problems I guess.
