Server Loyalty Program
Great idea love it. If you stick to one server you get a buff, Cant be a huge buff, miniscule that grows very slowly over time. We dont want it making any impact over balance so I dont know what it would be. But let grow with time served
WvW bonuses don’t affect you in the current week. It affects you for all of the next week, as long as you stay on that server.

Whatever the buff it has to be super small. Dont want people complaining its OPing loyal players. And it has to grow slowly hmm say forever so people are inclined to stay in one spot. Guesting players should not mess up there loyalty buff i would guess unless they hit WvW , but then i dont think you can WvW on the server you are a guest, someone else clarify this?
They could make the buff a magic find buff. That would provide incentive without actually effecting game balance in any way.
you get a two-week penalty for transferring servers already. that should be enough incentive.
Every month you remain on your server should net something like a 4% mf bonus, stackable nigh infinitum.
+4% karma and gold boost for every consecutive month on your server (infinitely stackable).
It couldn’t ever be a combat stat because of WvW/PvP
MF as Bruno suggested isn’t bad either but that could get screwy with the economy and long-time server loyalists who end up with a +400% MF and pull nothing but the best drops and unload them onto the TP.
Annual titles, no buffs. First one can be Champion of <server name> and work from there.
Rather than server loyalty, I think it would be more valuable to offer incentive to transfer to, or remain on, lower population servers – and active discouragement for transferring to more populated servers.
Transferring to a lower active population server or being on a lower active population server = multipliers to magic find/karma gains/XP/gold for two months following transfer/as long as the server is underpopulated
Transferring to a higher active population server = severe reduction in magic find/karma/XP gold for two months following transfer.
The issue isn’t keeping people loyal to a server. It’s making sure there is a good population spread across all servers.
All ArenaNet needs to do is offer free transfers to underpopulated servers and have players pay to move to servers that don’t need them.
Karma jugs every “x” number of days that a player has remained in the same server. like 20 extra jugs for a month or something like that.
Why? There is already incentive to stay because of Guild loyalties and restrictions on how often transfers can be made.
Putting any added reward simply makes server balancing more difficult.
