So I was having a present conversation in the Wayfarer Foothills over map chat. And I just got the best idea ever for Dyes. Shiney Dyes.

Alot of the armors in circulation right now are satin colors, no gloss to them what so ever, unless you go out of your way to get the ever expensive cultural armor. But so say you don’t like the way cultural armor looks, but just want it for its gloss. This is where my idea comes in.

For a limited time on the BLTC, or a super rare drop, or what ever. You guys release a dye set that is “Shiney Dyes”. And by shiney, I mean chromed out colors. Plenty of choice when it comes to colors, but not limited to

- Chrome Black
- Chrome White
- Chrome Green
- Chrome Orange
- Chrome [Insert color here]

These could really sell for a lot and getting that chrome look to your armor set.

And I know what some of you are thinking,

“Why don’t you just go out and get the Juggernaut if you want chrome armor?”

First off, that’s a heck of a lot of materials and a long time just to get chrome armor for your character, and you won’t event be using that weapon maybe. Second, hammers can only be used by people with heavy armor, Warriors and Gaurdians. What a perfect opportunity for the other 6 classes to get a chance to wear chromed out armor and looks super fly.

So ArenaNet, what do ya think? Shiney Dyes to get some spice into the dye selection?

So let me get this straight, you don’t want to work towards a legendary (which you might not be able to wear) but you want to get it’s “glow” effect through dyes, thereby making the legendary useless.

If that’s the case, I’d like a dye that makes me glow purple as if I was wearing the Quip. It would solve all my problems because my clones would also have the dye, and I wouldn’t have to worry about them not wearing my offhand weapon.

Seriously, it’s a Legendary effect, don’t try and think of a cop-out.

I’d like to see some different…texturing, I guess, to some dyes. But having them as limited time thing doesn’t work, look at the prices for the F&F dyes right now, it’s bananas.
