I’m not sure if there is a similar post about the short bow legendary and im sorry if there is,but i would like to bring up a bit of a problem with the look of the legendary short bow-The dreamer.First of all i would like to say it looks great and it is a very nice work of art,the problem though is that it is way way to girly for me and other male players who wish to use a awesome looking legendary,i am aware that there is another legendary short bow but it is not as cool looking as The dreamer.So i would like to request that there should be another Legendary short bow made asap that has the same stats but is more manly looking .Because i don’t want to be running around with my dreamer bow in the future looking like a sissy,and then finding out that your going to release a manlier version and having to spend a long time making it.it wouldn’t be a big deal if you didn’t bring out a manlier version but allot of us guy players would appreciate it if you did. p.s thank you for the awesome game and frequent updates

I prefer using it to a Long bow the dps is greater,and there really does need to be a manly legendary short bow made :P

Short bow / long bow combos are way cool switch between them for DPS burst control and fast attacks the only good attack(DPS burst) on long bow really is rapid fire anyway, but i agree the dreamer does not look cool for a male ranger> :P

i completely agree on this. i was thinking id make eternity for my ranger, but im not much for that on a charr ranger. i prefer the pact avenger. but i would like a legendary short bow and i dont like the dreamer. so yeah, if possible please bring out a new short bow. also, rocholl, what is the other legendary short bow you know of?

Another legendary shortbow? There is only the dreamer…

akerhage, i was pretty sure it was the only one, but rocholl said that he was aware of another, so im guessing it was an exotic or the longbow. no idea.

Woops my bad there isn’t another one,which makes me want them to make the manlier version more.. :P the other one is categorized as a Legendary called steady short bow.

Why would anyone want another Legendary shortbow? It is such a Dreamer.

Im just glad its a little bit girly, that way, my GF lets me play because she also wants me to get one =)

There’ll be more legendaries added with future content updates/expansions so I don’t think you need to worry.

After all, you gotta admit that it’s probably the best WvW weapon out there; there’s no better way to troll enemy players than to relentlessly murder them by launching sparkly rainbow lasers out of your unicorn cannon.

Using Different Recipe? Sure

Why no? the current girly bow (most likely made by a dev member who was on acid at a my little pony convention) requires a couple materials that are exact to its look, case in point the unicorn statue. So unless the new manly bow uses a unicorn you run into a issue.

Legendary Dreamer…best weapon to troll ppl. Don’t know what is wrong with it. Imagine you got killed by a guy shooting rainbows on you…totally pwned in my opinion. I think I’ll sell my Eternity instead of equiping it just to get the legendary short bow “the dreamer”.

Totally agree with Runo.

And as i said…will sell my legendary greatsword Eternity and going for this shortbow. Ways better than this mainstream greatswords.

No my suggestion is a suggestion you can not tell me it is not valid when it is mearly a suggestion,you don’t work for Arena net so you’r wrong lol

This is probably the only reason I’m not really working for my legendary right now.

Here’s how I view this: should all weapons be designed for a man? We have some pretty boss legendary weapons to choose from. Is it so wrong to make one of the legendary girly to please some of the game’s intended audience (girls). I’m not saying all girls like it, and not the guys can’t like it either, but having The Dreamer the way it is is perfect for chicks who have that sort of personality. Us guys can’t have 100% manly man gear now can we?
