Should Food, Potions and items be level capped to your current level, so if you’re down scaled to level 10, only allow level 10 potions. (or do you aleady reduce the level to the equivalent level?)

I think level restrictions on food items are idiotic.
“OMG! This level 39 Pepperoni Cheese Pizza is just too bad kitten —I can’t take it!”

There’s a better way.

I see it more that your taste evolves and you can’t appreciate the quality of a dish until a certain point :P

As for potions and food leveling, some food already scales with your level, like foods that grant regen probably scale down so they aren’t overpowered but still provide better HP return than lower level food. Other foods, like the ones that have a chance for an effect already scale: chance for might on dodge is still 100% for lvl 80 food but the might stack itself is augmenting your scaled stats.

The pure stat boost foods probably scale down too, giving you effectively less return for the cost of that consumable.

However, potions don’t scale and shouldn’t. If you’re using level 80 Inquest potions in metrica province, you should get the 10% damage…but then that’s 10% more of your downscaled damage…so it still scales in a way.
