Would it promote players portal hopping all over the place? Sure it would, but also easy to spot where there is something to do so not too bad I think?
An example, the harati world event or group event can’t remember. It’s a pretty long fight because there are hardly players on that map to join in.
Myself I might be tempted to take a look at the world map, or world event map if you need another and portal hop all over the place to join in the fights..
There is a need for showing events, the most asked question in the mapchat is… Any events??

holey crap talk about a programming feat. while yes that would be cool to see all the yellow circles and swords of the events that trigger but however how would that work because i amagine for people that dont have that powerful of a computer it would cause a massive lag spike to happen imagine Teaquatel and claw sponning at once. while having the preevent and tea landed with the asuran lab.
anywasy what im getting at is over lapping events like an escort and a defend how would those play out in the main map. its a cool idea but i dont know how it would work

another easy way to tell if events are going is to look at contested way points. for example pentriant camp in cursed shore shows its going by being contested.

I dont think people without powerfull pc’s play gw2 anyway. But kidding aside, it does not need to be that detailed. Or perhaps an event tracker, it’s kinda hard to find things to do without turning to the map chat and that is just one little part of the map :/
