A lot of the time I’ll hover over the red exclamation point to figure out whether I’ve got items or coins, or both. It would be nice if I didn’t have to bring up a whole window in combat just to confirm the amount of coins I’ve gotten.

Really? All I see is “coins for pickup”.

Seas is right, when you just mouse over the BLTC icon it just says “Coins for Pickup”.
This could be a cool little feature for some time down the road, absolutely.

I think the main reason why it doesn’t show is it’d have to cache your entire retrieve panel because the retrieve panel only shows the first 100 items to be retrieved (including each monetary amount).

This means if I sell something for 1c 200 times, then the retrieve will only show 1s, instead of 2s.

Then, all that needs to be done is to store all of the individual sales in a new variable. When you pick up your coins the variable could reset its value.
