Why don’t we have some kind of showcase informing the players of new additions to the game.

Like in the guild bounties, show some footage of the update in action and explain some strategies that could be used to accomplish a particular goal. Rather than just throwing it out there and expecting every other player to understand it.

yeah that one of the things that i did not understand of arena-net logic they are spending too much time on balancing game instead of releasing more flavor content into the world. I love the holidays one but that isn’t what needed to be done. You’ve basically released a paid open beta game. As far as i can tell you didnt finish making the game. Yet at the same time other MMO are releasing fuller and more (perhap free then this version) So its no wonder that this game is pretty much started to be a wooden ship against steel ships in the open sea of mmo life.
