Simple suggestion:

Add a button to invite someone into a duel.
One of the developers already said that if enough players would ask for a duel option, they would consider it.

So, tell areanet what you think guys!

In other games under your charcter option you had option to “Auto Decline Duels” so you never had to see the request. A few friends always had this option toggled “ON” and whenever a few us wanted to have fun, they would toggle it off.

It’s really annoying to have to go to the Mists and join an empty server, hoping no one else shows up, just to to fight each other 1v1.

there are many topics regarding this subject , and the first person camera and more but they apparently dont find 500 topic about the same thing something they need to add to the game even though most of the players want these options. add it to the game and the players will stop asking.

I am an avid PVPer and always loved dueling people in the past MMO’s ive played. Like this is standard with every MMO so i dont understand why there is no option. I love taking a few minute break from adventuring and having that quick duel with people i meet in my travels to have fun and learn a little more about my character at the same time

I think dueling really is one of those little must-have

Yep, it’s definately one of those things that players can do without having to dedicate a lot of time to. It’s one more thing to keep them playing the game

1. Give us a Duel option.
2. Give us a toggle in the options to auto decline duels.
3. Make it so the 2 people that are dueling don’t see other players around them, but the other players see the 2 people dueling.

i would love a dueling option, i dont need anything special or anything just a good ole fashion fight to the death

Maybe add a competitive side to dueling aswell with bets and stuff, but make this take place in the arena in the black citadel so know cheaters stick themselves on un-accasible rocks to win.
