I have noticed several people were wanting a Hard Mode option. I have a simple solution that should only make it harder for just the person/party in hard mode without affecting everyone around them. Plus this should be very easy to code. Let me know what you guys think.

General PvE
You will have the option to level yourself down up to 3 levels. For example, if you are in the Cursed Shore, level 80 area, you level yourself down to 77, 78, or 79. As a bonus, you can get something like 5% XP, 5% Magic find, or 5% of whatever for each level you are adjusted down. For example, Your are leveled down to 77 so you get a 15% bonus, 10% for 78, or 5% for 79. This way only YOU are at a disadvantaged while everyone else is practically unaffected.

Dungeons/Fractals
Same concept but it is party wide through the instance. For example, if you are doing AC explorable, level 35 normally, you can level the party down to 34, 33, or 32. Bonuses follow the same as above.

So no one cares to say anything about this?!?!

Just use rare/green gear instead of exotic and you have a harder challenge. Simple

Here’s another, super simple method for hard mode:
Never WP when dead.

May need to ignore that if party wipes in a dungeon though, unless you are all playing perma-death.

You funny guys need to understand something: deliberately crippling yourself is not making content more challenging. It just makes it take longer.

Taking longer =/= challenge.
