The problem:
GVG scene got completely destroyed due to this patch (bloodlust).

Solution:
Replace Orb Alter area in northern Borderlands (north of north supply camp) with new “Arena.” In this “Arena” (for GVG purposes), the bloodlust buff would not apply. Everywhere else in the map, the bloodlust would function normally, but as soon as you step into the Arena area, the buff would be removed. from your character.

Why?
This patch completely ruined their efforts and if kept around, I foresee a lot of kitten ed off competitive players leaving the game. I wouldn’t want that, and I’m sure Anet wouldn’t either. With Orb of Power completely removed from the game, the northern section of Bortherlands, where Orb of Power used to be, is just collecting dust. It serves absolutely no purpose at all. Transforming that area should impact WvW much.
From a programming perspective, this should be easy as well, because the code to control what buffs you receive based on where your character is already exists in game (see “determined” buff). The only thing that would be required is for artists to render that area. This would make GVG’ers happy while giving rest of the player-base bloodlust.

Thoughts?

The WvW team does not care.

This section is about WvW not GvG.
You should know that Orbs were removed because people cheated but it was well know that arenanet worked to bring the system back in some other form.
Making post like yours only shows your ignorance.

Not to sound harsh but wvw is not gvg. Gvgers have copted sections of wvw for your own use. It all remains wvw though and balances are done for wvw with no thought on how it impacts gvg. Just be patient and wait for true gvg to come.

Or look at my recent posts and support my idea for a series multi purpose open field room in the spvp mists to be used go what ever the players like. It’s a short term quick fix till actual gvg comes but should serve that community better until the real thing comes
