Not sure if its just me but sometimes opening the map gets me nauseous, be it quickly opening and closing for a quick location glimpse, or using the map multiple times, the nice(its a neat feature but after a while it’s just a nuisance) zoom in and out effect is quite annoying to me.
Not to mention the time it takes to view it, sometimes its almost faster to just drag my minimap around and locate my goal there, if that’s the case whats the point of the map.
As well as the possibility to die during the zoom out of map phase and a faster way to check the map in WvW and respond to things.
Would appreciate other peoples thoughts on this matter, but its only now that I’ve really noticed how nauseous the zooming gets to be a main issue, but i mention the map delay caused by zooming in/out solely because removing the zoom would also effect that matter.
A simple solution of having an option to remove the zoom in/out effects would be great, allowing players who enjoy the nice features to continue enjoying it while the pvpers and nauseous people to use the “M” map more efficiently
