I don’t know whether to post this in the “Game Bugs” or in the “Suggestions” sub-forum because it does have some “fixes”. But here it is.

I know this might be seen as nitpicking but that’s not my intention.

I just think the descriptions of skills/traits aren’t always consistent and/or might ’cause confusion in some cases.

The list I made are things I noticed while playing a ranger and you are gonna see that I replace apply, applied and caused by inflicted or inflict when they are talking about conditions. Why?

That’s because I see inflict as a bad word because if you inflict [subject] with [something] then that [something] is bad for the [subject] or that [something] is interpreted as bad by the [subject].

1. General changes:

1.1. Cooldown times, could use a rewording:

This effect can only trigger once every (amount) seconds.

and

((amount)-second cooldown)

to:

This can only happen once every (amount) seconds.

or

((amount)-second cooldown)

2. Marksmanship:

2.1. Malicious Training (II), could use a rewording:

Increases duration for conditions applied by your pets

to:

Increases duration for conditions inflicted by your pets

2.2. Predator’s Instinct (V), could use a rewording:

Apply cripple to foes you hit when they are below 25% health (15-second cooldown).

to:

Inflict cripple to foes you hit when they are below 25% health (15-second cooldown).

or

Cripple foes you hit when they are below 25% health (15-second cooldown).

3. In Skirmishing:

3.1. Sharpened Edges (II), could use a rewording:

Chance to cause bleeding on critical hits.

to:

Chance to inflict bleeding on critical hits.

3.2. Honed Axes (IX), has a spelling error:

Your do 10% more critical damage when wielding an axe in your main hand.

probably should be:

You do 10% more critical damage when wielding an axe in your main hand.

or

Do 10% more critical damage when wielding an axe in your main hand.

3.3. Trap Potency (XI), could use a rewording:

Conditions caused by traps last twice as long and traps recharge 20% faster.

to:

Conditions inflicted by traps last twice as long and traps recharge 20% faster.

3.4. Moment of Clarity (XII), has a spelling error:

Gain an attack of opportunty for you and your pet on Interrupt. This effect can only trigger once every 5 seconds.

probably should be:

Gain an attack of opportunity for you and your pet on Interrupt. This effect can only trigger once every 5 seconds.

4. In Beastmastery:

4.1. Rending Attacks (VII), could use a rewording:

Drake, Feline, Devourer and Shark pets bleed on Critical hit with their basic attacks.

to:

Drake, Feline, Devourer and Shark pets inflict bleeding on Critical hit with their basic attacks.
