Basically what I would like to suggest is re-implementing the system that was used in GW1. There it was possible to save attribute points and skills setup through templates and reuse them whenever required. In GW2 it would be implemented on saving trait points and skills (just the ones on the right side of the skill bar, heal + utility + elite) or possibly with an option to save both of those separately (for those who, lets say, only want to save utility skills but not traits or vice versa).
Now since in GW2 there is a fee for resetting traits I believe adding trait resetting tokens like the one I proposed in this thread might be a solution for that:

Of course interacting with skill trainers would also allow players to do template changes as many times as they like (given that they have enough gold to spend on resetting traits every time they choose to load a template).
