My suggestion: Slim the orrian offhand weapons down to more reasonable proportions, so they become a true viable visual appealing option…

Arguments
I am not sure about the mainhand weapons … (didn’t look into them), but:

The Orian offhand weapons have a pretty nifty effect on them, with the water spilling… But, when looking into a new Torch or Horn last night i noticed these two weapons are REALY bulky. While i liked the general appeal of them, the bulkyness just put me off …

And apparently i am not the only one, as i noticed the prices on these higher end (atleast in level) weapons were actually lower then the cookie cutter designed ones (with same specs). So even though the weapons have a cool water spilling effect, people do not like ‘the design’ and as such are not buying them, leading to low prices…

And i say ‘the design’ in quotes because it’s not realy the design that puts me off, they look realy decent, but the size or bulkyness … they are thicker then half of my character, meaning they start clipping with armor, and they stick out so far that its near rediculous.

I think they’re fine and their size is one of the factors i like most because some weapons are just so small you can’t really see the details well. Also if they were any smaller you would never see the water effect because it’s a very small particle effect and very faint. If the size is putting you off, take a look at either the pirate weapons, or the krait weapons. They are both mildly similar to orrian ones just don’t think they have any effects, but they are a good bit smaller/slimmer.

The sylvari t3 cultural swords I use look amazing, but they’re so small that it’s hard to appreciate them. I’m sure bigger swords would look out of proportion like you’re experiencing with the orrian offhand weapons, but sometimes being able to see what you’re holding is more important than having the the proportions exactly right.

At both above here, when i say ‘slim down’ i mean reduce the bulkyness not the size. The size is actually fine (lenght wize), but wideness of the horns end is so ‘huge’ that it is about as wide as halve my character, and it is sticking out a lot…

So i think you both somewhat misunderstand what i am asking for… i would love to see the wideness reduced not the size (as in the length).

And if you both think the weapon is ‘perfect’ as it is, then you are in luck, most of the ones i say were less then 1 silver, even the high level ones (obviously without any mods, just the bare weapon)

That is exactly why I bought that horn specifically, because it is big and bulky.

The reason they are cheap isn’t because they are bulky, its because ORR is superfarmed 24/7.

I think the horn needs to be bigger.
